Apollonia Kotero

Patricia Apollonia Kotero was an American singer and model from the United States. She is also a co-star in Prince's 1984 film Purple Rain. Her most well-known work is her part in Prince's 1984 movie Purple Rain as well as being the lead vocalist of Apollonia 6, a girl group. The actress was featured in numerous smaller films, like the sequel to Purple Rain Under the Cherry Moon (which she declined) after which she was offered the lead role as Falcon Crest on the Night-Time Drama Falcon Crest from 1985-1986. Apollonia was finally able to make her debut album available in the year 1988. It failed to leave a lasting impression on music lovers and she soon faded off the scene. In the years that followed the singer-songwriter remained an active actress, playing minor roles in films as well as small television shows. Apollonia published a Spanish/English CD called Stay with Me in 1997. When she returned to school and receiving a bachelor's degree in filmmaking and founded her own company.
