Marcia Gay Harden
Marcia Gay Harden was born on August 14 1959 in La Jolla, California, her third child from five. Beverly Bushfield is her mother, worked as a housewife, while Thad Harold Harden served serving in the military. The first time she became interested in theater while staying alongside her parents in Greece and going to plays in Athens. Harden started her college studies in Europe at American colleges and eventually moved to the US in order to finish her degree at the University of Texas. In 1983, Harden earned her MFA in theatre at NYU. Harden had already appeared in an upcoming film, The Imagemaker, but her first major role was in Miller's Crossing, the Coen Brothers humorous, witty tribute to the gangster genre. Harden was recognized for her sexy performance in Verna. Harden was able to continue her steady work in the role of a supporting actress, portraying Ava Gardner in Sinatra (92) which was a biopic made for TV about Frank Sinatra.
