Jill Hennessy

This resident from Edmonton, Alberta has a mixed ancestry of Irish, Italian, Swedish, French and Ukranian. The twin sister of her, Jacqueline is a professional actress. Jill began to master a variety of languages, like Italian, French, Spanish when she was growing as a child. As a teenager, she started to get fascinated by acting. The path to acting began in Toronto where she was an assistant for David Cronenberg's Dead Ringers, along with her younger sister. She then studied improv comedy in Second City under Deb Kimmet. After relocating into New York, Claire signed a two-year deal in Law & Order to be the Assistant District Attorney Claire Kincaid. The three years she spent on the show, she also spent time doing feature film roles such as RoboCop 3 (1993), Ron Howard's The Paper (1994), as well as I Shot Andy Warhol (1996). In the years that followed she landed roles on a series of forgettable flicks. But in 1999, she got a role as the lead in the miniseries uremberg with Alec Baldwin. Autumn in New York followed with Exit Wounds. She was the main character of her role on the NBC police drama Crossing Jordan in 2001. In 2007, she was honored with the Gracie Allen Award for "Outstanding female leading actress in a drama series" in appreciation of her work on the series. She got married in 2000 to fellow actor Paolo Mastropietro. The couple have two children. In 2007, she was inducted into the Canadian Walk of Fame in 2007. Jill Jill Jill Jill Jill
